Conflict Minerals Management
Cassiterite, wolframite, coltan, gold and other precious metals in the Democratic Republic of Congo and surrounding countries have resulted in serious human rights and environmental issues, called “conflict minerals”.
The majority of these metals may wind up in electronic devices such as cell phones and computers.
Lin Horn has subsumed conflict-free-minerals into supplier management policy, and act together with our customers to ensure that products comes from Lin Horn do not use the ”conflict minerals” .
Lin Horn refuses to purchase any kind of conflict minerals and invites our suppliers to participate in refusing for conflict minerals procurement (Gold, Tantalum, Tungsten and Tin which output from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Central Africa and other regions),as an important indicators of supplier selection.
